This week I was able to hang out with a good friend from high school that is also a quilter. A few years ago, he made a quilt that used special printed fabric showcasing my paintings. This was the first time that I had seen it. It’s so beautiful!

Early November I mailed this painting to a fundraiser art exhibit in Houston. By December I was notified that it never made it, and because of a car accident I was unable to track the package. Last week, a kind stranger notified me that he had bought the painting in a government auction, and through my blog, discovered that it was missing. It made it’s way back to me last Friday and is no longer missing!
